Inspired by the decadent 18th century French period, La Chocolaterie Rococo defines the ultimate in chocolate indulgence.
For many year Marita Lampbrecht’s exquisite treats and inspiring flavour combinations made La Chocolaterie Rococo a “must visit” venue for chocolate lovers in Oudtshoorn.
In July 2016 new owner Charmain Mouton moved the shoppe to a brand new address in Great Brak River.
While the hands and home of La Chocolaterie Rococo have changed, the decadent handcrafted pralines & truffles remain as delicious and artful as ever
About Us
Our chocolates are made from only the finest ingredients and is constituted of the finest imported raw materials from Belgium. All our other ingredients are proudly sourced locally.
Every batch is a balancing act of skill, technique, artistic flair and appreciation for the process of chocolate making.
The Shoppe
We are proud to announce our in-house coffee area where quest can relax with a freshly made cup of coffee accompanied with your choice of 3 pralines or the cake of the day (always something decadent and Belgium!)
Wine and whiskey pairings with our chocolates is also available – bookings is essential.
